Accell super coil question
 

I know the cl census is gonna say always use oem parts always but car is stranded right now and I wanna move it if not dangerous to the electrical system on my 83 SC 6 pin cdi cis car. I got a accell super coil with a 74 911 once and wondering if it will work in place of my dying bosche coil on my 83 sc?

This model is designed for use in cars with points and requires a regulator that came with it. Would it work on electronic ign car as well?

Model of coil is 140001.
Primary resistance .700 ohms
Secondary resistance 11.80 k ohms
Max voltage 45k

Can anyone offer any assistance here. If it's a possibility of damage I won't use it but worth an ask.

My old SC had a super coil with an msd box. It worked fine.
