How To Adjust Timing & Mixture on Twin Plug Carrera 3.0 Engine?

How does one go about adjusting the timing on a twin plug Carrera 3.0 engine with an older Electromotive crankfire ignition system? My mechanic says the timing is too advanced. Also, he was going to adjust fuel mixture, but said he couldn't find the fuel mixture adjustment screw for the CIS injection system installed. Any reason why someone would remove it? Any other way to adjust the fuel mixture on a CIS car?

Thanks Kent. Do you have crankfire ignition, so no distributor installed? If so, ho do you adjust your timing?

Go here and look for the model you have.

Manuals and Technical Docs - Electromotive

I have been using the old HPX system for a few years. Turn a few knobs and voila, timing adjusted. I also check with a timing light as it is difficult to be precise on the printed numbers.

As for the mixture, can you take a picture of the engine bay or fuel distributer?
