Question on side impact beam.
I have begun dismantling my 69' 911 and discovered the driver's side door has a side impact beam while the passenger door does not. I'm assuming the driver's side door is not original. So is there anyway to determine what year it came from?

By 76 door beam was mandatory in the states.

The door is galvanized, so that does support Bruce's comment. Oddly enough, the non-original driver's side door fits far better than the original door on the passenger side.
I'd also like to get a passenger door with a side impact beam. Anyone want to swap?
