Ride height different between full and empty gas tank.

Has anyone measured the ride height different (fender lip) between full and empty gas tank? Mine is almost 1/2" on the front.

OEM torsions? I can do a theoretical:

1 gallon of gas = ~6lb
21 gallons of gas = 126lb
Stock front wheel rate = ~137lb/in * 2 wheels = ~274lb/in

126/274 = 0.46", or your measurement is pretty similar to the theoretical.

10-15mm on mine, depending on how low I run the tank. Call it 3/8-5/8". Yours sounds totally normal to me.

With 22mm TBs, I drop almost exactly a quarter inch with 65 to 70 litres of fuel.

This is why it's recommended to do corner balancing with 1/2 tank of gas and the driver's weight in the driver's seat.
