Momo shifter help
I'm looking to replace this tired shift know with a stock knob on my 1969 911. How does this thing come off!? And the new reproduction know is not threaded. Is there a compression ring I'm supposed to have?

The part That says MOMO in the the picture is threaded. Loosen that ring. It either comes off or it hides a set screw, I cant remember.

Not sure if yours will be missing, but I believe there is a crush ring, which you can see HERE with Genuine and other knob options.

Unscrew the ring on the bottom, three set screws will be under there.

Jim is correct. I've got the same Super Anatomic. The threaded metal ring at the bottom of the knob hides one or more set screws. There are no crush rings on MOMO knobs, at least on this model. They're more astute than that.

The crush rings are for knobs that require a compression-fit install - factory-type knobs. None required if set screws are in the mix.
