**UPDATE** 80SC project....
Well, it has been a while since I posted any updates on the SC project but I do have a good excuse. A new baby takes ALOT of time!!
http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate...ads/babysm.jpg But back to the car.... FROM THIS: http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate...s/911_0501.jpg TO THIS: These were taken last night after spending all weekend painting the front/rear valences, rockers, torsion plugs and headlight rings. I blacked out the rims in the pictures below since I have yet to get them stripped and repainted (hopefullt this weekend) So let me know what you think so far? http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate...s/911a1001.jpg http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate...s/911b1001.jpg Ben in SC |

Did you get your door trim and window trim re-annodized, or painted? ------------------ Bill Krause '79 911SC Euro MY PELICAN GALLERY |
Bill,
I have all of the trim but I opted to leave them out. I like the look a bit better, and this is no show car by any means. I hope to use this as my daily driver.... Noah, It is Talbot Yellow, code #106. Looks even better in the sunlight!!! Ben in SC |
Mmmmmm, pull-me-over yellow.
Get any speeding tickets left on the window yet ? Black cookie-cutters would be sexy on that! ------------------ Charlie Baer '79 Euro 911SC |
Ben,
Great to see it nearly completed! You've done a great job! Congrats on the youngster too http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/biggrin.gif Don't worry too much about the cops, guys. My car is Talbot Yellow and (touchwood) haven't yet been pulled over in it. ------------------ Adam Chaplin 1976 911 2.7 Euro My 911 Website Pelican Gallery Page Porsche Owners Gallery Page |
