Porsche Crest I finally got a 911 PART 2

Hey guys thanks for all the great replies to my first post. This is my first 911 (unless you count my 1976 Targa in my garage in peices) but I was a Porsche technician from age 18 to 24 in the 80s. I have drivin MANY 911s in all type of conditions and I can honestly say the poor performance of my new toy is not my driving. My wife and I raced today for the fun of it and she left me in the dust, she drives a stock 1992 Subaru Station wagon. Since the engine seems to be in good mechanical shape I can only guess its the Megasquirt system (which you can tune from here to sunday and the car never picks up a single horse power). The car makes a lot of noise like its really going to poor on the power but it never happens. I have drivin lots of 911 CIS cars and they run circles around this one. My STOCK 1976 2.7 is so much faster than this its not funny (when it was put together). I have talked to Ben the guy I bought the car from and he has offered to trade me the stock CIS setup for the MS system that is on the car. I think I am going to go for it, this will eliminate my fuel system issues (at least in my mind). Anyone got any thoughts or comments? I post this for anyone else considering this fuel system for a CIS 911 I hope yours runs better.
