Speedometer recording at half speed

I just received my speedometer back from a reputable repair shop and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. It seems like it's registering speed but at half the speed that I am traveling.

Please see image below for wiring.
I did a comparisons of the wiring when I took it out and it appears to be the same to the image that I have attached.

The speedometer was sent out to repair the odometer gear and speed was not an issue.

You migh have lost half the magnets on the drive on the trans or the sensor on the outside of the trans is defective

Why did you have it repaired to begin with? What is the year and model of your car?

Since you have the white/red wire, you should have the mileage counter for the emission's light. Take a pic of the back of the speedo so I can see what terminals the wires are plugged in to. Should be stamped in the white plastic part. like a '+' or 'A' symbol, etc..

EDIT... I can see the markings now on a bigger screen vs my phone.. The connections look correct but you cant tell by looking at the brown/red ones. The only thing that you can try, would be to swap the two brown/red wires with each other or ohm the wires from the sensor where it connects inside the shift linkage cover and make sure the green wire attaches to the terminal in-between the A and - terminals.
