Will 77 Guage set work in 76 911S

I have purchased a set of 77 - 911 guages I am thinking I will have them refurbished and modified and use in my 76 - 911S if they will fit and work?

My initial thought was that there would be no difference. But there is for quite a few.

Get the PET from the link below if you do not have it yet. Section 906 has the instruments and part numbers.

Temp sender is different. 74-76 uses the same sender as SC, '77 uses the same sender as 930 or 3.2.
