World class collision repair in NY/NJ area?

Hi guys,
My mint condition 1980 911 Targa was rear ended last night, and it could potentially be totaled. I have a recommendation to take it to Specialized Auto Craft in Chatham, NJ. Are there any other collision specialists in NY/NJ who are of the caliber to repair / restore concors caliber vintage 911s? I'd be grateful for recommendations.

I have heard nothing but good things about both of the above shops but I only know of one car that was done by either of them.
Has anyone here had a car done by them? I am looking for a shop as well.
Thanks, Rich

Automobile Associates of Canton -They're just west of Hartford and one of the best Porsche shops in the NE, multiple concor winning restorations. They had my '88 for a few months that had a rear left crunch and did a fantastic job. Ask for Ken

I've heard great things about the place in Chatham.

I myself use Ultimate Collision in Edsion. I've had good experiences there and have seen some fantastic show cars come out of the place. They are not a Porsche specialty shop however.

Sorry about the tragedy but, silver lining, that's actually a very good photograph. I like how it says it all, good color saturation, the motion of the bus and the surfboard adds that bit of personal aspect. It makes it.

This is always my biggest fear about driving my 911 in the city, sorry it happened and good luck with the fix. I only take my car to my buddy Kade Madsen at Madsen Resorations in Dover NJ for any body work, regardless it won't hurt to get a few quotes. https://www.instagram.com/madsenrestorations/

Has anyone given any thought to installing a bright LED 3rd brake light (maybe blinking)? Not suggesting it might of prevented this but lets be honest our cars are small and the lights are not bright compared to modern cars.

I wouldn't recommend BodyMotion to my worst enemy. Bought a 'rebuilt engine' from him, ended up getting 3 scored cylinders, and a crank that was turned too far. Paid a premium, sold it as a core.

NY65912 - Gabriel Sports car in Yonkers NY. You will always see some high end cars in there. Lots of cool cars. Like I said, I had a a n excellent pait job and a fair deal. Shop really cares about the end result. I would use them again.
