SC Oil temp sensor thread size
Does anyone know what size the thread the standard SC oil temp sensor has? I'm trying to replace the stock sensor with an AIM sensor that will read on my data logger - but the threads are much smaller and I need to fab an adapter ...

Scratch that - figured it out ...
It's an M14 x 1.5 if it's helpful to others. On to the next one - any chance you guys know the sender block thread size/pitch? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Don't know off the top of my head, however, I hope that you are dealing with the sender "block" off of the engine and in a vice as it is held onto the engine with a hollow bolt and there are plenty of stories here where someone working on the sender in the "block" while on the engine actually broke the engine case where the hollow bolt fits.
Damn, that was a run on sentence! ![]() |
