Rear seat holding straps

The rear seats uprights on my 76 are in good shape, except that the straps with the snap buttons that hold them in place have dried up and broken. Is there a source for these? How do you remove the old straps and install the new ones?
Thanks for any help on this.

There's a thread somewhere here where a guy made his own. It didn't look hard, you just need to find the snap part. I've never seen replacements for sale, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

Could not find them here. Appbiz doen't show them on their ebay store- do they have their own website? I did find them at Autosinternational ($25) and Stoddard ($56). Stoddard shows a kit with tacks, so I am assuming that means you tack the strap to something inside the back of the upright.

Call bob at appbiz on the phone, he has lots of stuff that isn't on the web or eBay.
