smugler's box
I am thinking of moving the battery to the smugler's box . I don't have AC right now , do I need it when I decide to have AC?

All of the 911SCs and Carreras that I've seen use the smuggler's box for the evaporator (factory and aftermarket).

But the new all electric air-con system offered by a poster here doesn't use the smugglers box.
The condenser is in a self contained unit that replaces the "blower" in the frunk.

But with the amperage draw of the electric compressor, I wonder if keeping the battery next to the compressor/control unit might not be a bad idea.
