I understand what you're saying, it's just sad that it has come to this. Certainly never used to be this way. I just don't get why it's such a big deal. Oh well...

As someone posted above, if the owner wants to post it, let them post it.

I know the individual that was involved in this incident and he asked me to post this message for him:
To all following this post. The incident occurred at the California Festival of Speed. First practice session for our class. About halfway through the session I spun and went off track and stopped. As I was preparing to go back on track, I noticed in my peripheral vision another car broad sliding at high speed towards me. Then came the crunch. It was a very hard hit. Hardest hit I experienced in over ten years of racing. Other driver apologized and we had a good discussion. We both were devastated by the damage to our cars. Basically two write-offs. Both cars were serious race cars and stuff does happen. It is the nature of the sport. Part of me thinks I may have been where I was to save the other driver. Had I not been where I was to cushion the impact, the other driver would have broadsided driver's side into the wall. My view is he would have had serious injuries or worse if that had happened. My main message to all out there is the importance of safety equipment. My cage was intact. Not even bent. Impact wrapped car around cage. Good helmet with Hans and seat that keeps, head from moving side to side important. All worked as designed. Whether racing or doing track days, safety equipment first. Finally, thanks to,the person who removed the photo. Have fun and be safe.

No worries I hope.
I posted because it was heartbreaking to me, and did not think about the owner first.
