I am the one who mans the "info@hillcountryrallye.org" e-mail box. I have had several inquiries from folks who are looking to split cost of a room at the YO, some with rooms and some without. This thread, with so many subscribed, may be a good place to post if you want to cut your cost or need a place to crash.

Just to clarify. The organization of this event is primarily driven by other people. While I do help with drive routes and other things the majority of the event organizing accolades should go to: (not in any particular order)

Find some time at the event to locate them all and thank them for the efforts.

Without these guys there would not be an event like we have managed to bring together. They have been responsible for taking leads on hotel space, dinner space, car show arrangements, driving logistics, event registration, event check-in and every other thing that goes on here. If we all do our job right you will not notice anything. The challenge is having all the details come together.

We are entirely volunteer run. We are always looking for new people to take on key roles to keep this going.

I am coming in from San Antonio. My dad is coming in from either Brenham or Austin to meet me at my house and we'll roll out from here mid-afternoon. What are your plans?
