Completely Subjective G-50 Fluid Comparison

So I have now tried 3 Gear Oils in my G50 Transmission (Non-LSD). Here are my subjective, non-expert opinion, feel-test observations-

1. Mobil 1 Delvac- Improved shifts from whatever the prior owner had in there for who knows how long. After 2 years with the Delvac in, there was no noticeable change in shifting performance.

2. I went with Redline 75w90NS as I had read it is a more slippery. I agree, shifter feel was lighter than with the Delvac, almost too light making me concerned that the lighter fluid does not offer enough protection with shifting occurring too quickly for my almost 30 year old, original transmission parts. As a result, could feel more gear engagement grinding. Worst part was the degradation as the grinding worsened after this winter with more double clutching required to engage 1st or 2nd without forcefulness. Changed out after two years only 6,000 miles, which is way too short of an interval to notice such deterioration.

3. Royal Purple Max Gear 75W-90- Just put this in at the recommendation of my local Porsche specialist shop owner. Shifter fluidity was somewhere in between the Delvac and Redline. Grinding was much less significant than the worn out Redline. Most notable, was the clutch pedal had softened significantly. Really like how the pedal is almost as light as modern transmissions. We'll see how it wears. It is hard to compare these 3 evenly since the most dramatic difference was in going from the worn down Redline to this, but I think so far this might be my top choice, but with no hesitancy to go back to Delvac. Redline will not be purchased again.

How does clutch pedal feel change when changing transaxle oil? The two are not related.

Must have been psychological/unrelated to the gear oil as pointed out.
