Cool HP Junkies Street Racing Latest Ws

IF YOU SUFFER FROM MID LIFE CRISIS,OR ARE OFFENDED BY THE STREET RACING SCENE,PLEASE DON'T READ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well folks last Saturday events.....................

We have been having a bit of controversy regarding our Start and Stop Points, everyones talk about it the entire week, since I am a Good Street Racing Citizen I decide to elect my self and put a end to the controversy so arm with my Fluorescent Paint I mark the 1/4 mile and a 1/2 in this way we will fix that problem...................

The much anticipated nite that was supouse to host The Big Dogs Dancing turn out to be a less excited that anticipated main reason we think was the weather it was on the low 50s.........

So since we prepare our self all week we when out and we waited and waited and at some point it did appear that we be going back Home All Alone....................

Next to us it was a second generation Rx-7 which our Broker invited to Dance which the owner Replay"That 911 looks angry"
That was the end of that to our surprise a guy stands out and replays that he will race us,"OK we replay and we ask with what" he point out and is a motorcycle a 600 Yamaha, well I have never raced a bike before so we when at it,I had one of my Good Friends as a Co-Pilot "He seems to be my lucky charm" so we drove to the mark location to run the 1/4 mile and we went at it from the start he had a good full bike in front of us,not long after he was not longer a contender we SMOKE him no questions ask,we had the Judges at the finish line, fair and square........

So we are returning to the base and a VW Vr Turbo gets next to us and he wants to dance we go for and Smoke him too,as I lift up the gas is pitch black and I can see what appears to be a 4+ foot of Flames MEN that was super Cool !never seen them before by now we are pump.............

We receive a call and we change locations so we go and First Time ever I ask my Broker to fix us up Right away, they start with that and within minutes we have a contender a Mazda Mx6 so we are ready to go and appears that they have TRICK US........

Their Broker come and claims that the Mx-6 has withdraw BUT we have a replacement so here comes Another Second generation RX-7 WITH SLICKS!!!!!!! as we debate which type of race to run AGAINST ALL MY ADVISORS I agree to go 1st gear 20mph roll,we get to the location, the rx-7 is doing his burn outs we get close to the starting line.............

Im ready and my co-pilot is ready and we go the rx-7 jumps us FAIR and Square we are on 1st we are spinning the tires we shift second we still behind him 3er we start to reel him and pass him 4 is all over we pass the finish line 2-3 cars in front, guy comes around "the car was breaking up" this people have more excuses than my ex-girlfriend,we too were having a small problem that we haven't find and fix,it appears that is on the boost dept, but thats another storie.............

So we think that we are done, NOPE next to us a Right hand Skyline Turbo gets next to us we are cruising at 60mph for sure he want us GUESS what we go for and SMOKE Him too we returned to the base and is obvious that no one likes us anymore everyone is staying away from us like we have a disease,we shake hands with the contenders and of course they all want to race next week BUT I follow my friends rule and the P.R Rules One time one race..............

Well there you have it a long day at the office

I did see a video of a 9 sec skyline...one hell of a launch! But I would pay to see your car running the streets! Great stuff...enjoy it and keep it safe.

Sounds like you need to get those traction problems under control before you run against some tuned up vipers. Not many cars will be able to touch you when you get that sorted out. Doesn't your codriver slow you a bit too?

All this reminds me of the good old times over here in Puerto Rico. Back in the early '90s la "fiebre" had real macho racing american muscle against European. These days it is all about rice.

I still remember one night the match was arranged for la "Goya", it was my friends Buick GN (Had about 550hp plus a 100hp shot and slicks) against a 930 whose details I didn't know about. At approx. an 1/8th of a mile the GN had about 5 car lengths. I remember my friend telling me that by that time, the porsche was approaching him like if he was on reverse. And, yep! He let go and the race was over!

Sad ending isn't it?

Juan,
Now that's a busy nite of butt kickin.
Sounds like you have a lot of racers
in your area.
What kind of tires are you running on
the rear? You need to put all that power
to the ground.
I may have a set of 313/35/17 R-1's
you can try.
Great to hear from you!
You are the"Keeper of the Dark Side"!

Thanks Guys Im happy you enjoy the reading I enjoy the ride!

The Only reason that I have traction Problems (this is only the 2nd time this happen ) is when I get to exited usually I have zero traction problems,my co-pilot weights 130pds wet,lol it happen to fast so I have no choice but to run with him, spare tire on the truck and full of 110 fuel.....

We be Dancing with the big dogs is just matter of time we have the eye on a 3.8 Twin Turbo a 3.5 Single Turbo,a Twin Turbo 800+hp supra and a few others.........

We have learn that Dyno hp numbers and hp numbers means O if the wheels are spinning is all over so I truly think that we stand a good chance BUT is matter of time the time will come that we will loose but until then heck we continue.

Juan, just curious, do you run these guys for money? If you don't, I'd suggest at least throwing up a couple hundred bucks so you can get a return on your investment and have repair costs just in case you break something. I have two friends that literally make a living street racing and both are quite well-off. It wouldn't be my choice of the way to shape my life, but it's certainly something to fall back on just in case college doesn't work, beat's doin softcore porn.

later,

amir

Don't do the street thing much anymore but I remember one night at my local dragstrip. On Fridays they have "test and tune" and grudge racing which is just a legal way to say "money racing" Anyway I was busy tuning my car for the weekends competion (I was running Super Pro at the time) when two fifth wheel trailers show up, each driver and their friends unloaded their cars, one a tube frame Camaro with a big block and NOS and the other a back halved Mustang with a smallblock and the biggest turbo I've ever seen, to top it off the Mustang had liscense plates! Anyway they line up for their little "grudge match" and both cars click off low 8 second times with the Mustang winning by 2 tenths. Back around to the trailers they come, each loading up right away when the Camaro driver walks over to the Mustang driver and hands him a FAT envelop then they both leave. Now I have no idea how much money was in that envelop but I do know this, I had over 15k in my 10 second motor not to mention the rest of the car so these guys where risking serious cash running heads up like that. Anyway just thought I would share that, and BTW isn't it nice to spank a bike, I earned a lot of respect from the pocket rocket crowd in my neighborhood who couldn't touch my car, even to the point that my toughest competion asked me for a grudge match at the track where there would be no question who won, I obliged but installed a 100HP nitrous shot just to be safe (we had a grand on the line) Anyway I dusted him with my only 9 second pass ever because track officials where quick to point out to me that not only did I not have my competition license which is needed for cars faster than 9.99 but my car also didn't have the appropriate safety gear for those times either. I eventually built up the motor to handle a 300hp NOS fogger shot but never ran it since the birth of my daughter put and end to my "money pit" spending.

Thanks guys ! My tuner has told me dozen times to run for money at least to cover fuel, but Im not a big fan of Gamble money,my dad was a gamble addict so kind of bring bad memorys,But I may have to run for the fuel $....

I can tell you that I withraw from here for a while on that time we found a Awesone Dyno and we spend 2 Days and 20 dyno runs later we left with an additional 35Hp,so as we sit we are well over 500Rwhp,last time we had 505rwhp,I can said that the car is runing EXTREMELY good it has a pull like I have never feel before you can step on the gas without downshift and is like having an overdrive........

it has some what created a lot of work, so during the week I had to do a lot of Check Ups to be sure that we are on top shape, then saturday morning I go to my spot make 3-4 passes if everything is ok,home to wash her and then wait until 11.00pm.

I am VERY AWARE that I am a MARK man,and that they are coming for us but in my eyes we have build something special even that no Magazine agree.

As we stand we are 11-0 and I never post some real good races that we already had.

Well thats the latest news from the Rican Racing Camp..
