Door Handle Issues
 

Took my driver's door handle off because turning the key had no effect on the latch. Discovered that the screw behind the lock cylinder was loose. There's lots of black gook on the mechanism. I assume that I need to clean all of this off and put some blue Locktite on the loose screw. Do I need to grease the mechanism before reinstalling the handle. If so, what should I use and where should I put it?
