3.6 Bridge Wing brakelight

Does anyone know where to get a replacement third brake light and wiring harness for a 3.6 Bridge Wing Tail? What I'm looking for is a replacement light assembly like the one in the picture.

Mine was obtained secondhand, so I'm not sure if there is a more accurate name I should be using in my search.

If you know the manufacturer of the wing, I bet they could contact them and have them tell you the model you need. If not, there are a number of LED sellers on the net and if you have the dimensions you may be able to find something close.

I've got a similar wing and no light - I believe mine is 15 5/8 long

subscribed and ready to purchase the light if we can find one....

I'll keep searching too, Tadink. I will try to measure the width for my light recess and see if it's the same size. Unfortunately, I don't know the manufacturer. It looks like the ones on the MA Shaw site, but I don't know if theirs includes a recess for a brake light.

Surely, we can find something...

Tadink, just affirming that the lens space on mine is 15 5/8 inches long, too. Still can't find a source for it, but at least I know we're looking for the same thing.

LOL - great news, so we are now looking for a production run of at least 2 units from whoever made these wings!!!

I wonder if we're better served looking for LED strips in 'about' the right length? I can't 'find any mfgr marking or serial number on my wing - suspect you cannot either?

No, can't find any identifying marks yet. I will check out that Signal Dynamics light that RSBob posted. I also found a similar LED bar at Electrodyne, Quality Motoring Accessories: Replacement LED brakelight for Freedom Design spoilers that might work.

I'll keep searching for something that might work. At some point, I may just have to try one and see how close it gets.

Tadink, did you install the wing yourself? Do you have any tips that would help?

I measured the distance between the mounting brackets on my rear wing and the tabs on the bar at Electrodyne, Quality Motoring Accessories: Replacement LED brakelight for Freedom Design spoilers (using Photoshop). They seem to line up pretty well.



The side brackets are about 1.8 inches from the sides and the middle one is about 7.75 inches from either side.




The light is $41, so I may go ahead and order and see if I can get it to fit.

I did NOT install the wing myself - it came already on there....sorry, no help from here!

I like the light you found however - that looks like the ticket!!

I purchased the light from Electrodyne, Quality Motoring Accessories: Replacement LED brakelight for Freedom Design spoilers

I think a paid about $41 for it.

In short, it's the perfect fit for the wing. The picture shows me holding it in place with my finger. It comes with a cover plate and the screw holes even line up. You can see that the light itself fits in place perfectly.

I'll have to paint the cover plate, but I still have some paint left over from my headlight rings, so I should be set.

I will soon be putting up the entire 3.6 RS bridge wing and the brake light up for sale if you are interested. I'm planning on selling them together though and you may be just looking for the brake light.
