Best CIS book

I know this has been gone over, but I couldn't come up with anything in the archives (the search seems to only look for individual words even if AND or quotes are used)

What is the consensus regarding the best single CIS book to get for maintaining and tuning the 911 CIS system?

Looking for something more towards the practical (troubleshooting, tuning, specific tests and specifications, etc.) than the theory of operation.

Thanks,

Olivier

Amazon!?

Anyway, you may want to check out Pelicans selection.
There's even one there specific to CIS.

Which book from Pelican?

The on line catalog has 3 different books on fuel injection. Which one is most relivant to a 930?

I know I have mechanical fuel injection, but what is the correct name for my system?

From 75' thru 85' Turbos used K-jetronic or KE-jetronic more commonly known as (CIS). In 86' they went to to a DME or Motronic (EFI) system if you will.

Nope.

911 Turbos through the 1994 "Turbo 3.6" were CIS.

This one is rather complete, but in german. I hope to find the 1st volume, which should be a working description.

This is a Turbo we are talking about.

I don't think I have anything electronic controling the fuel system. Can anyone confirm this and the version of fuel injection I have on an 87 911 Turbo?

Which book applies?
