Plastic panels
I'm looking at making some covers for holes for things I've deleted, such as AC components, etc. Where does one buy different sizes of hard plastic plates of different thicknesses?

When I deleted my A/C I used relatively thin aluminum purchased from Home Depot. I cut it to size with metal shears and then bent and formed it to cover the holes in the front trunk. I realize that doesn't answer your question, but mention it in the event you reconsider using plastic.

Do a search for plastic sheeting, extruded foam plastic. I use it for a multitude of things..blocking off the old AC ports etc...
I used it to make a block off plate under my Carrera cooler so all the air is forced thru the radiator. It is easily shaped with a heat gun, weighs nothing and can be easily glued/drilled/bolted into place.

I'd really like to make a large plastic plate for the trunk. Just like the weather mats. Something that is similar to kydex, where it can be shaped with heat. You could make so much custom interior stuff with something like kydex. Door panels, center consoles, you name it.
