Spare Wheel Support

My car has three rubber blocks, but I see in the parts catalog there's a "support for spare wheel". Its part 1A (911.201.291.00); is this missing? Thanks.

Looks like it is. Its a larg half circle made of dense foam. Fits the contour of the front of the tank and the inside of the wheel.

Revisiting this because my emergency wheel does not seem to fit over the molded fuel tank support. You can see from the images that the support fits fine over the fuel tank; it even has the same diameter as the emergency rim,but when I try to place the rim over the support in situ it just doesn't match. Do I have the wrong emergency wheel? Thanks!

I wonder if that foam support is for a 965? They came with 16" alloy spare / space master - seems to have a similar inside profile

Ordered it from Sierra Madre; I'll double-check the part #... They have two: 74-84 and 85-89...

You need the one for 74-84, that space master tire is for a 15 inch wheel.
The tank support shown in the pictures fits the fuel tank but it is for a 16 inch wheel, that is why it does not fit your 15 inch wheel.
