Decel valve bypass

My Decel valve has likely died. When disconnecting one that's suspected of a diaphragm failure is in necessary to unhook and plug all hoses to and from, or just the smaller vac hose?
Thx.

If just the diaphragm has broken, then I think you only need to plug the little hose that pulls on the diaphragm.

If you also have a leak on the valve portion itself, it's best to plug all three hoses.

They're pretty easy to test - Vacuum pump on the diaphragm side and see if it holds vac.

Thanks Jim! Should have asked you on Saturday.... Installing MSD now, then on to valve adj and decel bypass. Might make it to c 'n c if not too busy before track day on Sunday.

Cool - Would like to hear what kind of improvement you feel with the MSD.
