Thanks to John Walker (Part 2)
So I hopped in for a morning blast to work-in the new synchros and as I backed out the idle started acting erratically. Pulled back in and looked things over. Called JW and he said bring it in. Then I remembered that the ICV can sometimes act up so I tapped it with a small flashlight (metal tool) and the idle settled down to normal. Headed to JW's anyway since I wanted to drive so JW hooked up the tailpipe sniffer and adjusted the mixture and, I think, set the base idle and then cleaned the ICV. No charge! Car ran even better than in did before the idle thing cropped up.

That's very nice of him!
