Here we go, looks ok IMHO if you would go all black (Targa bar, light trim rings, door handles, etc)

John, you need to be more careful. You got overspray on the fenders...

I don't want to hurt anyones feelings, but the all black wheels look absolutely TERRIBLE to me.

They look like someone can't afford real wheels so they are running a set of space-saver spares from a GM car.

Having said that, the solid black spokes with polished rims can look sinister and look great on a 911. (Check out Bill Verbergs wheels - nice.)

Eric,

Are those factory 993 wheels or the replicas? Where did you get them and how much? Oh yeah, and how much to have them powdercoated black too?

later,

amir

Amir,
They're Factory wheels off of a 993. not replica. even with the wheels spacers needed to make them fit they still weigh less that a Replica set do.. I sanded them down and applied 2 coats of paint and then applied a allow wheels clear coat to them. they look very sharp. (not to moses, but thats fine he can place what he likes on his car) but to most who see them you can tell they are not GM space saver wheels. I have traded them to a friend for a set of FUCH wheels I got screwed on the deal but if you really want a set of them that have already been painted and all
and are factory wheels. call Phil I am sure he will sell them as they are just gathering dust in his shed. he even has the FVD wheel spacers to go with them
Ph# to Phil is 937-372- 6775

Eric,

Does anyone have a pic of 993 wheels with black spokes and silver rim? I'm thinking about doing my 993 rims with black spokes and silver rims like Moses suggested.

John.... the sad thing is, that's not to far off my first attempt to do it in MS Paint. Very nice job though. As for those with skills, Ingo, Gary, thanks. BTW, this is just for my track wheels, so I think I'll give it a go and see what it looks like in person.

Hey, 82SC -- I was just about to suggest yout thread. More of a pipe dream than an offer, but what are you asking for the fuchs of death?

By the way, I'm glad that even though you don't like them, you're selling rather than stripping them.

Jared

If you use those 993 wheels on an SC or Carrera....you will need spacers and long studs to do it right.

I have a set if interested....new in the box.

CJF, it is cheesy but if you look at it quickly out the side of your eye, it may be OK.
