ADVICE NEEDED: 1972 911T Euro Project Car to Buy

I am looking at a strange car that after getting the vin today it is:

1972 911T Euro - VIN starts with 911250-----

It currently has an 1986 930 Turbo Motor in it with it don right back in the early 90's, Turbo suspension and brakes, oil cooler, speedo, etc. It has been sitting in storage on a hoist for 10+ years. So it need to be gone over to get running, the interior is a mix of original 1972 dash setup on great shape with 1975 911 Sport Seats and door panels, the rear seats and headliner and carpet is 1972 original and great.

Here is the kicker, it was converted to a short-hood turbo, wide-body in the 1980's, all steel flares done factory fresh, the paint is a bit tired with some work to be done, and some strange rear fender vents (see picts) There is rust issues only in the front pan where the suspension mounts, so it needs a new pan installed, also some minor holes in the floor pan passenger side, and the doors have some bubbles (pluged drains)

There is a correct year 1972 911E EFI motor complete in parts that goes with the car too. It is also a Special Order Green (looks like Viper, Bright Green)...

So According to Haggerty it is not worth more than $29,000 as a FAIR car, I am guessing it is lower than that from a paint and the rust issues?

With the prices of early 911s going up, is this car worth $30-40k to sell? I am thinking of buying it to find a good home, not wanting to make more than $5-10k??

Thoughts on value, potential resale value, is it worth it to keep?

is the parts motor numbers matching to the body? probably make the most money parting out the incorrect turbo bits (motor, brakes, front quarters, bumpers), and selling the roller/motor combo.

Do you mean a 1972 911E MFI Motor? Assuming yes then that's a bonus if it intact and rebuildable. Backdating the body and interior is do-able but fitting the 1972 specific oil system and external filler flap is going to be $$$ without a suitable donor. The 930 motor is going to be an easy resell as well so do the numbers.

I don't think the motor is matching, it is a 1972 but has an MFI and the car is a Euro carb. It's up high on a shelf so I need to bring a ladder next time, but the heads are 72e as is the MFI pump, so I'm assuming the same for the engine. Is it worth $30?

So does anyone think the car would be worth $30k as it sits? Or is it too screwed up with the wide body and misc turbo bits... I was thinking buying it, selling the Turbo motor, fund the rebuild of the e motor and then fix the body issues (removing vents, new front suspension pan, etc.)

Euro E's were MFI. It will cost you at least 30 to put the body back in order with paint, maybe more. An engine rebuild for MFI will cost another 20 done right.
