I'm back in the club
the Porsche owners club that is...I just need to re-learn the handshake
 I got back a healthy PPI and on Saturday a friend of mine drove me to Indy to purchase it. I have been grinning since Saturday  The seller was a dealer (Forest's Park Place Motors) and they were great to work with. Highly recomended. JR INDY from the board helped me out too. He went and previewed the car before I spent the $200 on the PPI. As it turns out, he has almost the exact same car. Same year, color, interior, wheels, etc. Thanks a bunch John. After I bought the car, my friend Geoff, John and I went and ate lunch and talked Porsches. Then I got to drive home in my new car Here is a pic:

By the way, in case anyone was wondering, the car is a 1986 w/80K miles.
Short shift kit 17" wheels Euro ride height front & rear spoiler perfect black interior tinted windows central locking and fun to drive

Cool car, enjoy!
I remember the feeling and the grinn on my face untill my wife became suspicious and started asking strange questions. Wher did you go to? Did you meet anyone I know? etc... I learned to fake being serious now  I was planning on having the 17" turbo 2 wheels on my car to. What tires do you have in the back and in the front? Thanks, Bart.

Very nice 911... my question though is, who owns that very nice 2002 next to it? And what is that 2002 doing on the roads this time of year in the midwest?
