Does anyone have a Red Book or data on how many 1977 Porsche 911 Targa were produced for the US market that year? Thanks for any input, milspam

I will post page from red book within the hour. If I forget, PM me to jog my memory.

I think it is broken down by engine type which would include all countries that received the US platform that year but I am not sure.

I think you take the total Targas in the US and back off the two Japan series (VIN number sequences) and you will have the total.

Others will know if Canada fell under the US country code.

Thanks so much for taking the time to help me with my question. I found out that a classic car insurer listed the same production numbers listed in the Red Book. I really wonder just how many are still on the road, as many were probably parted out due to technical issues. Many Thanks again. milsapm
