Mobile Works West, specializing in air cooled Porsche Maintenance and Repair, is looking for a sou chef. Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not a requirement. We are more interested in someone that; has good focus and attention to detail; is eager to learn; is ready to work with real commitment; has real passion for these cars.

Job is located in San Jose/Morgan Hill, Ca.

This is an entry level position as a general helper to assist one of the top Air Cooled Porsche Mechanics in the Bay Area. Duties will generally include: instructed disassembly of machinery; parts cleaning; equipment, parts and tool setup for jobs; assistance on repair jobs, as instructed; shop cleanup; parts pick up at suppliers or customer sites; parts packaging and shipping; as well as basic shop maintenance.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

This job is a part time position that will usually require between 20 to 30 hours per week.

Starting pay is $15/hr.

Hum, I'm in Morgan Hill and love these cars. I do all my work including engine rebuild and I'm teaching myself about the 915 and 930 tranny at the moment. What a great opportunity, this is my hobby and passion.
