Snap a CV Joint bolt, what to do.

Replace one of the CV joint boot last year.
Have the car up on the ramp today and checking the torque on all the bolts. Everything is fine until the last bolt.
I guess the wrench does not have enough room to swing and it doesn't click. I over torque the last bolt and snap it in half.
The bolt snap in the middle, I don't think I have enough room to remove the CV joint to get to the bolt. Any suggestion.
Terry

BTDT, you need to undo both ends, remove the axle and then remove the broken bolt with a vice grip.

Can't think of a better way. Low risk, just a mild PITA.

No torque on the bolt shaft unless it was bottomed. If so, wrong length.

Assuming this is a 911. Torque them up. Check again in 1,000 miles. Repeat if necessary.

Also, if you go into the multiple posts you can "edit" and then delete it yourself.
