We're looking for a machine shop (preferably on the East coast) that can do a good job of lightening 911 flywheels (for race applications). We'd greatly appreciate anyone you can recommend. Thanx.

Ummm...... I'm not sure that's the best idea. Light flywheels can be purchased, but I'm not sure how much material you can safely cut from a stock steel FW. Any engineers out there interested in calculating how fast the outer edge of a flywheel is travelling when the engine is at 6000 rpm? I think it's nearly 300 feet per second.
