fitting to attach 2mm cable to throttle ball cup

Pardon my terminology on these if they are wrong. Hopefully i'm able to articulate what I'm looking for below.
I'm looking for a cable fitting that will allow me to solder/crimp 2.0mm throttle cable to the ball cup that attaches to the bell crank/throttle linkage doohickey on my 3.0. Can't seem to find anything.

Something like this would work:

I'm going to make the cable so I thought I might as well use the ball cup on the end near the firewall to make it as simple as possible. Any suggestions here?

Ok, so i've determined the correct terminology. They are called "cable swage studs".
But no luck finding them in metric threads or for 2mm cable that I plan to use for my throttle cable.

I am looking for just the wire to replace that for the cruise control in my 85 targa. just the wire broke near the TB end. >$150 from Porsche.

going to stop bay a guitar shop and see if they have any strings that would work.

I'll be checking with https://www.midwestcontrol.com/
