Sunroof Question
Hey all, the sunroof is slow-moving, doesn't like to close the last 10 percent of the way on it's own and, has a low spot in the passenger side rear corner. Is this something worth chasing down? Will it work well once rebuilt properly, or should I have the roof welded shut? Here's a pic....

You can adjust that pretty easily. The sunroof is not all that complicated once you dig into it. If you search there's a post that details the steps complete with photos. Probably way easier and cheaper to fix it than welding it shut.
Here it is: Sunroof cable repair and new seals 87 911

adjust it. Not that difficult. A bit of trial and error. Your cables are probably dirty. Not much you can do about that unless you want to take it completely apart and remove the felt on the cables. Help it close with your hand. Not a big deal.
