Very nice!

However, I almost cried when I read the following from the brochure:

"Some people race their cars after they build them.

We race them before."

Damm it! That's the Porsche I used to know!

I think that brochures like this make you believe Porsche is (or WAS) different, what a marketing, what a feeling !!!

Have you also seen the wallpaper for the PC desktop?

Josep

Those ads are great, thanks for posting them. It's hard to resolve the difference in the
company from then till now. They WERE so committed to proving their engineering through
racing and Now seem to be so committed to the bottom line for investors.

Does anyone remember the NASCAR Grand Touring Series referred to in one of the ads?
It doesn't ring a bell with me. Curt? John?

Is that Butzi in the background of the first photo (with the goatee)?

Yes it's Butzi, Peter, and Ferdinand Piech behind Ferry.

Lightbulb Why don't we..

Just an idea - if someone had web storage space enough, why don't those of us who have broshures and a scanner scan these and upload them to one place, for all of us to view and download?

I don't know if this may have any legal questions attached to it, but it's an idea at least

Myself, I've got euro-broshures on the 1980 SC, the whole lineup from 1981 and 1982 (I think), along with some of the 3.2 broshures.

Unfortunately, I don't have space on my web server for scans..

I'm sure that if we all joined forces, we'd have a pretty impressive collection of broshures to share between us.
I'd be very interested in a 1972 Euro-spec S-broshure for instance..
