Recaro seat mounting challenge

Hi all,
Bought a pair of Recaro LS-C from a fellow pelicaner, and I would like to use the Recaro rails it came with. Can anyone provide personal experience on how this was accomplished, because after drilling hole to match up with the stock rails (good) I
Got the rear bolts for each side mounted, but cannot slide the seat back far enough to gain access to the front bolts.
Am I doing this bass ackwards?
I have read many of the posts but none address this particular issue. Definitely could be user error.
In the end I may end up cutting the seat mounts out altogether and welding in new ones per many articles. Currently want to get this thing on the road so trying to avoid removing fuel lines etc.
Thanks for the help and input.
As always much appreciated.
Gary

I have LS-C seats in my 84 but used the stock rails (drilled out). Recently I had to remove the driver's seat a couple of times to repair the bottom. I typically move the seat as far forward as possible, put the rear bolts in and then the front. I purchased an extra Allen wrench and cut it down so I could clear the seat cushion once I push the seat back as far as it will go. Works for me and seats take about fifteen minutes to remove or reinstall. Still a little tedious but I just take a deep breath and take my time.

Gary,
I'm following your build, I have no information for you concerning you concerning your new seats.
I can only offer the following concerning "bolting the seats". I recently completed a interior makeover, true-installing the factory seats was not difficult ,but aggravating! So here's my solution to anchoring the aluminum bolts to the seats rails. Easy installation, after fix, see pix. Good luck with your project
Terry
