Restoring/updating 1984 Targa
I decided to put this Targa back to its original color (black). While I was at it I rebuilt the motor, tranny, replaced all of the interior, new front bumper, and new center caps. What do you think?

I think that the motor looks terrible and I need to come and pick it up and relieve you of it!!!
Nice progress and when you are finished with it, can I put my car in line for the next one to have this done???!!! Looks like you have a great place to work! Keep up the pics! Joe

I also like the workspace. I don't have a whole lot where I can work, I'm really envious

The flares were install (poorly) by the previous owner. I had to re-work all of the seams and reform a couple of flaws. I am hoping to finish the Fr/Rr bumpers, decklid, and spoiler this week. It has been a great project.

WOW! You have resurrected a beautiful car. Great job! I'm surprised how great the front bumper looks in black. Very nice.

Great job! Whose bumpers? They look like C2 and assume you had to buy a light set. Any problems in hanging them. I have a 1987 Targa and have been thinking about replacing the bumpers. In part only because I don't like the big black 5 mph guardes hanging off the rear bumper. Their only saving grace is they make great seats to sit on while working in the garage.
