Parking Lamp Circuit Shorted

Help! Anyone have a wiring diagram for an '86 Carrera they wouldn't mind posting or emailing? I have a short in my left side parking lamp circuit. Anyone dealt with this before? Was the headlight switch the culprit? I haven't done any checking yet but am hoping the switch just went bad. Anyone?

I'm trying to learn how this HP scanner works.. if you want a better copy? It'll have to be by e-mail.. roninlb@optonline.net .. I can't shrink it down and keep it clear for the reply.............Ron

Ron,

Thanks for the offer but I figured it out myself. Guess I should go buy a Bentley.

It turns out that the engine compartment light is part of the left hand parking light circuit. When I recently had the tail off I disconnected this light. When reconnecting it I hooked up the wires backwards and grounded out the circuit. That'll do it everytime.
