Clint at Rebel Racing? Anybody know how to find him?
 

I see that this may be a common issue from time to time.. Anyone down near Morro Bay that knows him?
Not a huge deal, but I ordered one of his cool raised shift consoles on May25th. I tried emailing him twice last week and yesterday, with no response. The one number on his site has a full mailbox, and the other number appears to be disconnected.

By all accounts he does killer work and I really dig this piece, but, as an owner of a business, I would be out of business if I had this kind of customer service.

Does anyone else make a piece like his? I want to get this in place before my next track day.

Maybe you have a wrong number. I just talked with him last week. I never have a problem getting a hold of him on phone. Answers the phone Everytime I call. Very helpful with any questions I have. He's a good guy!

Thanks for the response. I tried both numbers on his "Contact" page on his website, so I am pretty sure they weren't wrong. What number did you call?

I've had difficulty reaching him in the past. Seems like if he's not around to pick up, it goes to his voicemail. You have to just continue to try calling him. :( Good luck.

I believe he sources the raised tunnel from Urs Gretener at GPE (Gretener Prototype Eng.) so maybe look them up if need be. Clint probably doesn't stock many of these and therefore I suspect they're built-to-order. Thus the delay in getting one shipped out to you? Just a guess.

If I had a dime for every one of these "where's Clint from Rebel Racing?" threads, I could get that 3.8 Liter motor I've been wanting.. ;)

I talked to Urs (thanks Cody for the info) and they are, in fact, being made now. He has a dozen that just went in to powedercoat and mine is one of them. Should be shipping in 8-10 days. Clint is apparently out of the country for the rest of the month..

I suspect you'll be pleased with the raised tunnel. It's really nicely made. I have one waiting on the shelf in my basement for my stillborn racecar rebuild project.

One of these many threads said Clint is a surfer. All agree he has great products, but when the surf is up, communication is not....

I had the same issue

Clint is a top guy when you can reach him and discuss about the products

but really a nightmare to reach him

just call and call again, easier at the beginning of the day or during the lunch time

good informations when you can discuss
but, need a secretary

Spoke with Clint late last week. He is out of town for a couple weeks.
