911 SC boxster from and rear caliper / other mods needed ?
Hi
I just finished installing the front and rear standard boxster 4 pistons calipers on my 911 SC I changed too the master cylinder (from 21mm to the 23mm turbo one) I just wanted to know regarding your experience if I need to change the brake bias balance (front / rear) or if it's ok keeping the original repartition on the SC thanks |

A brake balance bar may help, but only if you track the car, if not it won't matter. Pads will also really help.
If you do track the car you need to figure out how to get as much cool air flow to the brakes as you can- that will be your weak point |

Boxter brakes
I have been working with William Knight and we have also put together a boxter kit upgrade for my '77 911s.
It works with the Rebel Racing adapter kit and William suggested the Porterfield race pads and turbo brake cylinder upgrade. Let me know your results once you're done and gone out testing - would love to hear your input. |
