Cool Finally Home - 1254 Miles, phew!

Picked up my car in Chicago yesterday and I'm finally home!

1254 miles, a little over 17 hours.

Stayed the night in Atlanta - then back home in St. Petersburg by 2:00. Had the top down for the last hour and a half!

Here she is in her new digs

Umm, I'm no police officer but I assume 17+ hours was just driving time and excluded rest time?

Otherwise there might still be a few cops along the route looking for you

Nice car and congrats on the safe arrival home.

Yes, 17 hours drive time and includes gas and food stops. 26 mpg. My C2 would have gotten about 16-18 mpg.

There were lots of cars that passed me - that I chose not to try and keep up with!

Be careful out there. Happy Holidays!

Wink

Yes, I will be sure and stay away from any rabid taxi drivers

The Car:

1987 Diamond Blue Cabriolet
43,000 miles
Full Leather Marine Blue Interior
Clock Works
15" Fuchs
Bra, Storage cover
Factory Tonneau Cover (never used)
Blue original top, window has been replaced.
Boot cover
6,000 miles on the tires

PPI revealed small hole on passenger side of top, dollar bill sized scrape on rear valence. AC needs recharge, Compressor functioning normally. Quarter sized burn on rear carpet section.

Here's an interior shot.
