Uh oh...
My steering on the SC is making a small clunk going from left to right and from right to left. I've isolated it to the steering box, but I havent taken the metal plate/cover off yet. I don't think it's coming from tie tie rods unless they can do a clunk at the steering box end. It's not load and I can only just hear it when I'm driving. Any ideas guys?

I just changed over to turbo tie rods, changing out the oem's. When we pulled that cover off we found the two back bolts that hold the steering box were backout out almost 1/4" inch. Yike. Retighted with lots of loctite and changed the tie rods, gee its much tighter now. Worth a look.

Thanks CS. Wow, those bloody hippys back in the sevenites smoking too much dope and not doing the bolts up tightly
