Turn Signal Switch Wiring Help Needed

I have just installed a new turn signal switch in my 1982 911SC and have one wire left over. I have circled the wire in picture below. I have no Idea what it is for and I do not see it in the pictures I took before starting this project. Thank you in advance for help with this project!

On my car the wire you circled is a solid grey color, and has a white plastic male connector on the end, that connects up to a female with grey wire

Wire

THE ONLY GREY WIRE I FOUND IN THE FACTORY MANUAL GOES
FROM PIN #d AT THE SWITCH #p OF THE IGNITION SW.

THIS MAY CONTROL THE VOLTAGE THE TURN SIGNAL SW.

GOOD LUCK,

GERRY
