How to replace front bellows
I've been searching and can't find any real info on how to replace the front bellows.
What do you have to remove to replace them, the entire bumper? The valence? |
Unbolt from the backside. Each one is held on by four small nuts. Remove the wheel and stick your head in there, it should be pretty clear (the oil cooler may be difficult to work around on the passenger side).

You don't have to remove the front valence? seems like it's tucked in between them or something.

There are a couple screws holding the rear of the valance to the fender transitions. You can remove those if the bellows needs some wiggle room. If I remember, the bigger issue is the oil cooler. If you can't get to the nuts on that side from the wheel well or underneath, you may need to take off the bumper. Not hard but more work. Same screws for the transitions and some bolts behind the bumper rubber strip. The Bentley manual is good for this type of detail.

I just sorta removed this when I was removing the bumper. Take the front tires off and look in. You will see two screws at the top and bottom of the bellows. Remove them and if you can access the front ones by removing the bumper. It's easy. there are two screws at the ends of the rubber trim piece, remove then peel back the bumper trim and you can access the four bolts. Remove and the bumper will slide right out and you should be able to access the two front bolts of the bellows. As other have said, you might be able to access the front screws but the oil cooler will be in the way on the pax side
