Very clean kill. Nice job!

Quite a few youtube videos - this is one:

They offer the humane version - without water that will cause the rodents to drown (dead.)
I've used a very similar design (with water) to catch a large cousin of the field mouse - that couldn't resist the temptation of visiting the chicken coop.

To kill, you must know your enemy, and in this case my enemy is a varmint. And a varmint will never quit - ever. They're like the Viet Cong - Varmint Cong. So you have to fall back on superior firepower and superior intelligence. I smell varmint poontang, and the only good varmint poontang is dead varmint poontang. And that's all she wrote.

LOL

I would worry more about mouse droppings not peanut butter on your carpet.

Oh no! You should've used the concourse correct Porsche Mouse Trap (NLA). Concourse judges have been notified, the early car crowd now looks down upon you. The value of your car has now plummeted.

I built one and have caught 12 meeces in two months. Whatchado is, take a five gallon bucket and drill two holes opposite one another near the top. Drill an empty or full if you are disturbed, pop or beer can, beer is recommended, through both ends. Take a coat hanger or piece of slender rod and slip it though one of the holes of the bucket, both holes of the can and the other side of the bucket. Bend the ends of the close hanger down and secure the hopefully free spinning can in the center of the bucket. Fill the bottom 1/4 of the bucket with water and slather the can with peanut butter. Place in a corner or behind something next to a wall, turn off the lights and wait inside your house. Next to the bucket is highly discouraged unless you have five more buckets and beers.

For the life of me I can't figure out what this rope pissing Jack-yard is trying to say. Mouse jumping on free spinning can slathered in peanut butter attractant, falling into water and drowning is pure lunacy. (drowned another one last night)

@Puma While the Viktor is no West German Sure Catch, it is a period-specific design that very few judges take off points for.

It will affect resale, however, by reducing the buyer pool. The mouse trap is the soul of the car.

LoL!
