ReFuze ATO/ATC fuse panel
Saw these fuse panels in an ad.
Has somebody tried it ? It seems it is the same size as the original ones but for ATO/ATC fuses. The only parts that are strange are the plastic screws. If someone has used it please review it. ![]() |

Look pretty good and the best price I've seen so far.
But for the ReFuze 1974 - 1989, not 100% sure about this statement: "Each panel has internally ganged contacts identical to the OEM configuration".

I have one and know the guy who makes them. They are trick and internally ganged as stated. I'll be installing mine over the next couple of weeks

The only reason I mention this is Porsche was not exactly good at "Electrical" and "Configuration Management" so using the same block and jumpers configuration between "1974 - 1989" would be a record

There are some differences. He requests the year when ordering. Not sure the differences but he seems to have it dialed

JJ I think they are referring to these internally ganged contacs.
LeftCoast, thanks that is what I wanted to know , if someone has seen or used one. I think these are one of the best option and less expensive ones. I am almost sure I will buy one set. ![]() |

I am not sure if there is a difference in the 74-89 fuse blocks.
I am sure there is a difference in the 356 and the 65-68 they look similar from the outside but are different from the inside. 356C ![]() 65-68 ![]() |

Yes, I think he has figured it out. In his design I think it is easy to connect any contacts without any outside bridges. Well even Porsche uses outside bridges.
JJ you are right Porsche is not too good at electrical and configuration management. Last edited by donporfi; 06-26-2016 at 06:31 PM.. |

If Porsche was good at it we would not be thinking in doing this upgrade.

I found a difference that the ReFuze does not have. I will contact CDD and ask how they solve this.
There are some screws contacts missing. ![]() |

Fuse panels............
My experience with the Porsche 911 fuse panels has been that there are (at least) two maybe 3 different versions for the 1974 - 1989 models. The difference of course being the internal jumper arrangement. Also, the extra terminating screws that donporfi has identified are just that, places to locate additional wires feeding the fuses on each side. This "system" of fuse blocks looks to be an intelligent design and well made though I personally prefer the use of crimp on female 1/4" terminals over the clamping screw method. The difference being the contact area being larger on the crimped terminals. Now, all he needs to do is to add a panel with two extra relays for the headlights!
