3.2 cylinder head temp sensor

I don't have an CHT sensor on my 84 engine, I don't have the motronic either so its not critical, but I would like to connect one to my EFI.

So I checked the Technical Article here: Porsche 911 Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor Upgrade | 911 (1965-89) - 930 Turbo (1975-89) | Pelican Parts DIY Maintenance Article
I was told that the 954 sensor would work nice with my EFI, saw the number 964.606.405.00 in the article above and bought one.

Now when I tried to fit the sensor, its too big! It has an M12 thread and I guestimate that its M10 in the cylinder head.

Is this for real dig I get the wrong sensor, whats the proper partnumber, 930.606.915.00?

The thread size for the CHT in my '87 is an M10x1.00.
