How to calibrate oil pressure readout?
My oil pressure reading on a manual mechanical gauge is 5 psi higher than my dash readout...
How does one adjust the dash gauge to reflect what the manual gauge does? Bo |

Which one is correct? Anyway I think you will need to either increase or decrease the resistance of the earth from the sender. Easy enough to disconnect from the gauge and connect a multimeter set to ohms and measure at low pressure/idle and higher pressure say 2000rpm to figure it out. Then its ohms law, resistance in series increases resistance and resistance in parallel decreases resistance.
