Rennline Hood Supports
Just a heads up. I purchased a set of these and they seem to be a quality product EXCEPT for one thing. The mounting hole in one end of each is too small for the 6mm pin!
I inquired about this and was told yes, they knew about that, and I could either send them back for exchange or just bore them out. To save the hassle of shipping, et al, I am opting to drill them out, but I think it’s a little tacky of them to ship an item they knew had an issue. Just sayin’.

As Rennline has grown and expanded I've had some quality control issues. They have great customer support and will respond and help, but they have some minor growing pains. Still make great products, but I was also disappointed they sent these out knowing they weren't right. They sent me a smaller cotter pin.

Same issue ordered a few months back, I was able to resolve this with about 45 seconds of sanding and a light tap of a hammer. My 50 year old pins were slightly corroded which I presumed was the issue, though at the time thought it odd that only one side was binding.
Otherwise they certainly work well, looking forward to the "one and done" purchase |

I installed a set, on my 88 coupe, with zero issues.

Light sanding the pins won’t help mine, it will take a drill bit. The hole is only 5mm, not 6.

I believe Rennline has modified their manufacturing since product launch to eliminate the issue described above. OP's point - I think - was Rennline knew it was a problem with the first shipments and shipped it anyway as they probably thought it wasn't that big a deal.
