This 964 seal has a extra flap that doesnt seem to make sence. As the rope is pulled nothing makes contact with this little flap |
I have heard that 964 rubber will work on the earlier cars to get rid of the alloy trim.

I tried the 964 window rubber in an SC and it did not work. after installed it was entirely too loose to work. I ended up having to purchase the OE unit with the groove for the trim. YRMV, but it was a non starter for my effort.

Didnt want to hear that news but thanks! Ill loose no more time on this haha!

Gotta use the 964 windshield with that seal. It's larger.

Are you saying a 964 windshield and seal fits G-series as "a nice fit"? Thank you -

Don't let the shape of the seal fool you into thinking the seal has the trim installed. The 964 rubber is molded to look like it has the trim http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1412626993.jpg |
Cool - thank you vm
