will this relay work for me in a '68?

Flasher relay cut and pasted out of pelican online catalog:

I yanked bad relay and replaced with 3 dollar one from auto parts store. Works PERFECTLY now for the first time ever except the in dash indicator arrows are constantly illuminated and blink (in-unison) when i use flasher??? Incidentally the "bad" flasher is a Hella one that local Hella dealer can't find in catalogs etc.
